Thanksgiving is this week in the USA. One of our traditions is to give thanks for what we have.
Following is a list of things I am thankful for.
I am thankful for being able to attend writing conferences.
I am thankful for my local writers group.
I am thankful for having enough chocolate to get through whatever it is I am trying to write!

Debbie, a good Thanksgiving laugh. I needed that. So though you are stressed, you haven't lost your sense of humor. Have a nice break, but hope to see you back with a new post in December or January.
PS: I, too, am thankful for my writing friends. The many, many online as the ones I get to see at conferences, events, writers groups, etc. Thanks to the Web (and a doting husband), I don't think writing is the lonely career many feel it is.
Yes, chocolate! Lots to be thankful for. Especially important is the support of other writers who have slogged through and have been willing and able to share their experiences so the rest of us are blessed with a wee bit of knowledge.
Thankful tonight for a warm fire, family and friends--including my writing cyberfriends, so important to me--peace and contentment. And that I've always been fortunate enough to do a job I love.

Here in S.Africa we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I'm thankful for so many things. At the moment S.Africa is in the grip of load-shedding, which means we spend a couple of hours each day without electricity. Fun! But it's made me very grateful for the electricity we do have, and my connection with the rest of the world during those times. And of course that includes almost all my writing friends. Without electricity I wouldn't have met you.
